Sleep disorders have been an often overlooked and
under-diagnosed area of medicine. However, once diagnosed, the vast majority
of sleep disorders can be successfully treated.
SleepCare provides diagnostic testing for sufferers of sleep
disorders, so that they may receive relief from the symptoms that have such a
negative impact on their waking as well as sleeping hours. When you refer one
of your patients to us, you are sending them to a comfortable,
patient-oriented environment that employs the latest technology. Patients
undergo an initial consultation with one of our sleep specialists, which
helps to determine if a nighttime sleep study would be beneficial. During a
nighttime sleep study, patients' sleep patterns, leg movements, blood oxygen,
heart rhythm, breathing and snoring are closely monitored for irregularities.
Test results are evaluated by a sleep physician, and forwarded
to you, along with a diagnosis and recommendation for further treatment.
If any of your patients are experiencing the sleep disorder
symptoms, SleepCare can help determine whether he or she is suffering from a
serious problem.
