Based on medical need, SleepCare will perform a 16-channel, diagnostic sleep study as prescribed by a physician. Patients must first be seen by a Specialist with a background in sleep disorders. Each SleepCare site has a Local Medical Director to whom patients can easily be referred for the initial evaluation.

Once diagnosed with a potential sleep disorder and a sleep study prescribed, SleepCare can schedule patients within a two-week time-frame at a convenient location. SleepCare is located in suburban and rural areas of New Jersey, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware.

Our Customer Service Representatives provide a brief scenario of the sleep study set-up, "lights-out", recording time, and "disconnect" procedures so that patients and family members have an understanding and are at ease during the study. Patients are tested in centers which provide a home-like atmosphere with state-of-the-art equipment. This will lend to a more natural night's sleep and thus provide sleep activity for the physician to draw an accurate conclusion. Results are quickly developed and sent to the Medical Director for reading.

SleepCare takes care of all insurance verification needs as well as all third-party billing. The patient, of course, is informed prior to the study of any deductible and or co-pay obligations that may occur.

NOTE: This insurance list applies to SleepCare's "free-standing" facilities. There are several locations that SleepCare manages which accept all insurance carriers. SleepCare will do its best to accommodate your patient's geographic needs while assuring insurance coverage.
